316 stainless steel (SS) sheet is a premium-grade alloy prized for its superior corrosion resistance compared to standard 304 stainless steel. This is primarily due to the addition of 2–3% molybdenum in its composition. The sheets come in various thicknesses, sizes, and finishes to suit applications across many industries, including marine, chemical, food, and medical.

Stainless steel (SS) 316 flat bar is a rectangular metal bar made from an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy with added molybdenum. The molybdenum content provides enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly against chlorides and acidic environments, making it suitable for marine and chemical applications. 

Grade 304 stainless steel sheets are a standard austenitic (18% chromium/8% nickel) stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and formability. Also known as 18/8 stainless steel, it is the most widely used grade globally for both household and industrial applications.
